Content
Simulation programs are generally used in industry for the design of energy technology systems and processes. In this course, processes are simulated in a practical manner and parameter studies are carried out using EBSILON®Professional simulation software, which was developed specifically for the design, optimization, and control of energy technology processes, as well as MS Excel, where practical processes are simulated and parameter studies are conducted. This allows you to learn about the most important parameters and control variables in energy technology processes and, as part of supervised computer exercises, you will have the opportunity to simulate various energy technology processes—from combined heat and power plants and district heating plants to waste heat utilization processes, solar thermal systems, and large heat pumps.
