Analysis of the biogas production process

 

Biogas experiments

The investigation of the biogas production process typically involves complex and time-consuming experiments. Due to various influencing factors, the standard deviations of these experiments are relatively high, making it difficult to formulate clear conclusions for everyday practice. Therefore, different influencing factors are being investigated to take measures reducing the standard deviation.

Transferability of results

Results of laboratory tests are typically used for the optimization and the design of industrial scale biogas plants. Based on the conducted investigations regarding the transferability of results from different experiment sizes, laboratory test results should be handled with care.
